Erica Wrong

Took care of absolutely no business today....must have been a day off. Lots of thinkin' but no doin'. Benita has been MIA for 4 days now but Seniora Halderson and her calf Elsalita showed up this morning and spent the day here. Highlight of the day was taking a nice warm shower late this afternoon. New acquaintance of the day was my neighbor Ara Gureghian. He rides around in a BMW motorcycle with a side car....his pit bull Spirit rides with him complete with a helmet that says "BITE ME" and doggles. I hope to get to know them better in the near future. Ya'll can too at his website/blog... http://www.theoasisofmysoul.com/

If it isn't a left wing media, why are we being inundated by series of anti McCain quotes from C-list celebrities. The latest from a long list is decrepit disco diva Grace Jones announcing that she can't stand Sarah Palin. Score one for Joe Biden. Next up we have some countdown quotes of the day from Erica Jong - self proclaimed feminist from a long time ago. The press photo along with the article in the New York Observer is from 1976...she must not have aged well.

"The record shows that voting machines in America are rigged."
"My friends Ken Follett and Susan Cheever are extremely worried. Naomi Wolf calls me every day. Yesterday, Jane Fonda sent me an email to tell me that she cried all night and can't cure her ailing back for all the stress that has reduces her to a bundle of nerves."
"My back is also suffering from spasms, so much so that I had to see an acupuncturist and get prescriptions for Valium."
"After having stolen the last two elections, the Republican Mafia…"
"If Obama loses it will spark the second American Civil War. Blood will run in the streets, believe me. And it's not a coincidence that President Bush recalled soldiers from Iraq for Dick Cheney to lead against American citizens in the streets."
"Bush has transformed America into a police state, from torture to the imprisonment of reporters, to the Patriot Act."
Thank you Erica Jong for your insight....
now do like the dog's helmet says.....
